About the Event
Debbie Lindeman and Dennis Price invite you to their home on the central Hamilton Mountain to learn more about native trees and shrubs as an extension of her “Planting Trees for Nature” article in the April newsletter. They have close to 30 species of nativetrees and shrubs growing on their one-third acre lot at 106 Seneca Avenue.
The tour starts at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 4 th .
This is an opportunity to find out about some of the wonderful trees and shrubs of southern Ontario and why you should consider including these trees in your landscape design. People have destroyed most of the natural ecosystems of southwestern Ontario. By incorporating native trees, shrubs, and other plants on our properties, we are giving back to our wild species some of that missing habitat.
Please email email@example.com if you are interested in attending. Further information and directions will be sent to you. If you do not have email, you can contact Debbie at 905-389-0224.
